One of the new-build FW 190 replicas has ditched into the Mediterranean.
 

June 14: One of the new-build FW 190 replicas, FW 190A08/N F-AZZJ, ditched into the Mediterranean near Hyères on June 12 during the Centennial of Naval Aviation event at the nearby Naval base.

The pilot, Frenchman Marc Mathis, was unhurt in the incident and rescued by a jetskier. Mathis said that the engine failed, “the twelfth time it has done so”, he added. It is believed that the aircraft has been written off.
